Job summary

RNN Group is seeking a dedicated Job Coach to support young people with EHC Plans toward employment and independence. Based at Dearne Valley College, you will visit workplaces, build relationships and help learners grow practical skills and confidence.

The role requires 37 hours weekly, permanent status with holidays, and a commitment to inclusive practice and safeguarding in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supporting students with emotional, behavioural or learning difficulties.
• Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy and solid IT record-keeping skills.
• Commitment to confidentiality, safeguarding and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Support learners in workplaces to build confidence, independence and employability skills.
• Break down tasks and coach, reducing support as learners become more capable.
• Track progress, capture feedback and maintain records of skills development.
