Job summary

The Forward Trust in Margate seeks an Employment Advisor to coach and prepare learners, job seekers and individuals for the world of work, including those facing barriers to employment. You will provide information, advice and guidance aligned with Matrix and Gatsby Standards, from onboarding to job placement and in-work support.

You will manage a caseload, deliver one-to-one and group coaching, support CV writing, job applications and interview preparation, and collaborate with employers to

Qualifications

• Experience delivering employability support and guidance.
• Ability to coach individuals and groups with confidence.
• Knowledge of Matrix and Gatsby Standards is a plus.
• Strong ICT skills and ability to maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality employability support from onboarding to job placement and in-work support.
• Deliver one-to-one and group coaching to help learners progress into employment or apprenticeships.
• Prepare candidates with CVs, applications, and interview practice.
• Build effective relationships with employers and external partners to identify opportunities.
