Job summary

Bradnet is a CQC-registered care provider in Bradford delivering personal care in homes, supported living and adult day activities. As a Care Worker you visit clients at home to help them live safely, comfortably and independently.

You will build real relationships with the people you support and make a difference to their day. No two days are the same, and you will follow care plans, assist with daily tasks, support with medication, and help people stay connected to their community.

Qualifications

  • Must be caring, patient and reliable.
  • Good communication and ability to follow a care plan.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check (we'll arrange).
  • Willingness to undertake training.
  • Previous experience in care (paid or unpaid).

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, continence).
  • Support with meals, drinks and light household tasks.
  • Prompt and administer medication per care plans and training.
  • Help people get out and about and stay connected in the community.
  • Record visits and notes on our electronic care planning app.
  • Spot changes in health or wellbeing and report to the office.
  • Follow safeguarding, infection control and health and safety procedures.
  • Treat everyone with dignity and respect and support choices.

The role
