Job summary

ND Care & Support is expanding its children’s services in Bridgend and surrounding areas and seeks compassionate Care Workers to join the team. You’ll support children, young people and adults in their own homes, provide personal care, and help maintain independence while building meaningful relationships within a caring team.

The role offers flexible working patterns, paid mileage, and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• A caring, patient and compassionate nature.
• Experience working with children or vulnerable people is desirable.
• A willingness to support both children and adult who we support.
• Good communication skills.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred.
• Reliability, flexibility and a positive attitude.
• A commitment to providing person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Supporting children and young people within their own homes and the community.
• Providing personal care where required.
• Supporting adults to remain independent in their own homes.
• Assisting with medication, meals and daily living activities.
• Promoting independence, dignity and choice.
• Completing accurate electronic care records.
• Working as part of a supportive and professional team.
