Job summary

ICare Group is hiring a Home Care Worker in Blackburn (BB1 & BB2) who is driver-enabled to travel between client homes. You will support clients at home, promoting independence while maintaining dignity and safety. Full induction and ongoing training are provided, with flexible hours and weekly pay.

The role offers a welcome bonus, mileage between calls, and a supportive team across the local community. Previous care experience is welcome but not essential as training is provided.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Have access to your own vehicle.
• Be able to travel throughout Blackburn BB1/BB2.
• Be willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance if not already in place.

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Home Care Worker, you'll support people in their own homes, helping them remain independent while maintaining their dignity, wellbeing and quality of life. No two days are the same, but your role may include:

• Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion
• Supporting with washing, dressing and daily routines
• Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition
• Providing medication prompts and support in line with care plans
• Carrying out wellbeing and safety checks
• Supporting with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Building positive and professional relationships with the people you support
• Promoting independence, choice and person-centred care
• Working as part of a supportive and dedicated care team
• Travelling between clients' homes across the Blackburn community
