Job summary

AESN Care is seeking compassionate Care Workers to provide high-quality support in residential, supported living, and community settings. You will assist with daily living activities, promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing, and work 37.5–40 hours weekly on a full-time contract.

Suitable candidates will have good communication skills, flexibility for weekends/night shifts, and the right to work in the UK. NVQ 2 in Health & Social Care is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is desirable but not essential.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and nights.
• Right to work in the UK (or eligible to obtain sponsorship if applicable).
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health & Social Care is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care tailored to individual needs.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support clients with mobility and transferring safely.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding where required.
• Administer or assist with medication following company procedures.
• Maintain accurate care records and daily reports.

• Encourage independence and participation in daily activities.
