Job summary

Randstad Care is seeking committed Care Workers in Inverness to support older people living with dementia in a warm residential setting. You will join a team focused on dignity, respect, and compassionate care within a refreshed service.

The role includes acting as a key worker, assisting residents with daily living, mobility, and activities, and working flexible rosters including weekends and evenings. Training and professional growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 3 in Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Experience with older people with dementia preferred.
• Basic IT skills for care recording and reporting.
• Registered or eligible for registration with the SSSC.
• Member or willing to join the PVG Scheme.
• Respectful of a Christian-based ethos, supporting people of all faiths and none with compassion and understanding.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care promoting dignity and wellbeing.
• Act as a key worker and contribute to individual care plans.
• Support residents with personal care, mobility and routines.
• Encourage engagement in social, recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Liaise with families and health professionals as needed.
• Maintain accurate care records in line with standards.
• Work flexibly on rota basis, including weekends and evenings.

We're currently recruiting:

Care Workers (Day and Night Shifts) both part time and full time. Pay rates range from:

Day shift Care worker - £13.03 - £13.18 per hour - £26,236 (Average)

Night shift Care worker - £148.67 - £152.67 per night - £31,328 (Average)

To be considered for the role, ideally you will have:

• SVQ Level 3 in Social Care (or willingness to work towards this qualification)

• Member (or willing to join) the PVG Scheme.
