CrossReach is seeking a compassionate Care Worker to build meaningful relationships with residents, supporting their independence, wellbeing and daily routines in a Scottish care setting.

You will be part of a team, with person‑centred care at the heart of practice. SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare, PVG Scheme membership and SSSC registration are required. CrossReach offers a generous pension, health plan, discounts and a care concierge service.

As a Care Worker, you'll build meaningful relationships with residents while supporting their independence, wellbeing and daily routines. Through kindness, encouragement and compassionate care, you'll help create a place where people feel safe, comfortable and at home.

What You Will Do

• Support residents to take part in activities and hobbies they enjoy

About You

You will be compassionate, patient and committed to supporting older people to live well. You'll enjoy working as part of a team and understand the importance of person-centred care. Previous experience in care is welcome but not essential. We're equally interested in people who share our values and want to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

You will hold, or be willing to work towards, an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare. This role requires membership of the PVG Scheme and registration with the SSSC.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
