Job summary

Keane Premier Healthcare in the United Kingdom is seeking a Team Leader to supervise and mentor care assistants, ensuring the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of residents. You will lead and coordinate care plans, administer medications, and maintain records with a focus on compassionate, person-centred care.

This role requires PVG and two references. You will receive comprehensive induction and ongoing training, with clear opportunities for progression and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

  • SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Compassion and empathy for others.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive mindset and attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a warm, dignified environment for residents.
  • Plan and deliver individualized care to residents.
  • Supervise care assistants and provide guidance.
  • Administer medications.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Perform personal care tasks (bathing, dressing, grooming).
  • Monitor vital signs and safety of residents.
  • Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to care plans and review meetings.
  • Keep the care home clean and organized.
  • Uphold confidentiality and residents’ privacy.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
