Job summary

CareTech is recruiting a Care Team Leader in Harrogate to lead a support worker team and deliver person-centred care for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.

The role requires rota-based shifts including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins; a DBS check is required; drivers are essential. CareTech offers extensive training and development opportunities along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a support worker team.
• Experience in mental health and learning disabilities environments.
• Health & Social Care Level 3 Adults preferred.
• Enhanced DBS required.
• Ability to work rota including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of support workers to deliver high-quality care.
• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual plans.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care as needed.
• Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing.
• Coordinate activities, appointments and community access.
• Maintain accurate records and work as part of a team.
