CareTech Group is recruiting a Team Leader for Selborne Mews in Birmingham. The role involves leading a care team to deliver person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs.

You will assist with daily living skills, promote independence and manage schedules across rota shifts, including evenings and sleep-ins. The service emphasises dignity, wellbeing and community access, with extensive training and progression opportunities within CareTech’s

Qualifications

• Confident working independently and in a team.
• Good communication skills and basic IT/written abilities.
• Willingness to work towards Level 2 NVQ.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support per individual plans.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care.
• Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing.
• Support activities, appointments and community access.
• Maintain accurate records and work as part of a team.
• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins.
