Job summary

Lifeways in Stourport is seeking a Care Team Leader to guide our supported living services. You will lead a team of Support Workers, shape day-to-day care delivery, support staff development and help individuals regain independence and dignity.

The role offers progression and access to recognised qualifications, with shifts including early, late and sleep-in on a rota basis. Your leadership will be valued and your impact felt.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Team Leader or Senior Support Worker with NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written and digital) and ability to lead teams.
• Desire to progress and deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of Support Workers to deliver person-centred care.
• Ensure individuals supported live independently and with dignity.
• Recruit, develop and supervise staff; conduct interviews and coaching.
• Communicate effectively with staff, people supported and external professionals.
• Maintain accurate records using strong IT and writing skills.
