Job summary

Capability Scotland is seeking a Team Leader at Wallace Court, Elderslie. You will supervise a team delivering person-centred care to adults with disabilities, with hands-on duties including medication administration and personal care.

The role requires leadership, mentoring and strong communication to maintain service standards. The post is 39 hours per week on a 4-week rota, with early, back and late shifts, including weekends and on-call.

Qualifications

• Experience leading care/support teams.
• Coaching and developing staff to maintain high care standards.
• Strong communication with team and colleagues.
• Commitment to person-centred care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise a team of support staff to deliver high-quality social care.
• Occasionally perform direct care, including medication administration and personal care.
• Coach, monitor and develop staff through role modelling and clear communication.
• Lead on shift planning, ensuring rota coverage and handovers are effective.
