Job summary

North Yorkshire Council in Harrogate is seeking a Team Leader to drive the day-to-day performance and development of a team of Care and Support Workers across Harrogate Home Support and Harrogate Day Services. Reporting to a Registered Manager, you will uphold high standards of safe, effective, responsive and person-centred care, while promoting wellbeing and team resilience in community and day settings.

The role requires travel between sites, a weekend rota, and a commitment to safeguarding

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (preferred).
• If Level 2, the role supports achieving Level 3 within 12 months.
• Ideal candidates have experience supervising care teams and a commitment to person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day performance and development of a team of Care and Support Workers.
• Champion a culture of care, resilience and wellbeing within the team.
• Ensure safe, effective, responsive, caring and well-led care across community and day services.
• Travel between Harrogate Home Support and Harrogate Day Services as required.
