Job summary

Chetwynd House Care Home is seeking a Care Team Leader to supervise a team and deliver person-centred care. You will coordinate daily care delivery, oversee care planning, and ensure medication administration and documentation meet regulatory standards.

Working with the nursing and management team, you will promote a culture of dignity, respect and accountability, and contribute to audits and continuous improvement. Weekend work on alternating weekends is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
• Medication administration training with competency.
• Experience leading or supporting a care team.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• A caring, compassionate and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and supervise care staff to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Coordinate care delivery and oversee care planning and documentation.
• Administer medications with accuracy and manage risk alongside the team.
• Support audits, reviews and continuous improvement to maintain standards.
