Job summary

Swanton Care & Community Ltd is seeking a proactive Team Leader to support the Service Manager in day-to-day management of a shift at our supported living service. You will lead a team of Support Workers, drive development, recruitment, inductions and performance reviews, ensuring safe, empathetic and person-centred care.

Qualifications

Experience in care settings and leading a team/shift.
Ability to recruit, induct, supervise, and develop staff.
Pro-active approach to development within a Care Team Leader role.

Responsibilities

Provide practical and emotional support to empower the team.
Lead recruitment, induction, supervisions, appraisals and training.
Coach and develop Support Workers; manage rota, sickness and absence.
Ensure person-centred care plans for people we support are maintained.
Oversee quality and maintain comprehensive service user records.
