Job summary

Crystal Care Collection Limited is seeking a Care Team Leader / Deputy Manager in Sussex to lead care teams and drive exceptional, person-centred care. You will mentor staff, manage day-to-day home operations with the General Manager, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, prior leadership experience, and a calm, communicative leadership style. Shift pattern is fixed three on/off, with 42 hours weekly and £18.22/hr.

Qualifications

• Holds an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Previous senior care or leadership experience.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional resident care.
• Leads by example; enjoys coaching and developing others.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Can stay calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Committed to high standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor care teams to deliver person-centred care.
• Support and mentor staff to ensure safe, compliant operations.
• Provide high-quality personal care per individual care plans.
• Act as Key Worker for allocated residents and plan adaptations.
• Develop, review and implement individual care plans.
• Oversee medication ordering, administration and recording.
• Ensure health & safety, COSHH and regulatory compliance.
• Complete quality audits, supervisions and appraisals as delegated.
• Participate in on-call rota and cover shifts when needed.
• Support day-to-day home operations with the General Manager.
