A leading company seeks a Care Support Worker to provide essential support to individuals in their homes across Midlothian. Candidates must possess an SVQ level II in Social Care or be willing to work towards it. The role demands a mature and flexible approach, responding to unplanned situations while delivering tailored care plans. This permanent position offers 36 hours of work per week with a competitive salary, adhering to the Regulated Work with Adults requirements.
Working within the Care at Home team, you will attend visits across Midlothian to support individuals within their own homes.
The jobholder must have an SVQ level II in Social Care or be willing to work towards it and have practical experience working in a supportive role with clients delivering individual care plans. They need to be able to work without direct supervision and have a mature, self-reliant approach with the ability to respond to unplanned situations in a calm and flexible manner.

Note: Successful applicants will be appointed to the first point on the salary scale, with a minimum salary of £28,440.19 per annum for 36 hours/week over 52 weeks.
