Job summary

Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking bank staff to support people with learning disabilities and complex health needs across Worple Road, Staines; Shieling, Epsom; and the wider community. You’ll work with families, carers and professionals to deliver person-centred care and empower independence.

Shifts include Early 07:00-14:30, Late 13:30-21:00, Night 20:45-07:15. Interviews on 24 November 2026. Training and dedicated temporary staffing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Driving license required for day services.
• Level 2 qualification in health and social care or equivalent.
• Full driving license preferred for home settings.
• Experience providing care or support to an individual.

Responsibilities

• Support people using our services in line with their care plan to promote independence.
• Assist with personal care tasks according to individual needs.
• Monitor health and behaviour and report changes to senior staff.
• Act as a key-worker for named individuals within the service.
• Promote activities within the service and wider community.
• Maintain confidentiality and dignity at all times.
• Ensure safety and report any risks to staff.
• Assist with manual handling and mobility aids as required.
• Familiarise with the Social Care Charter and apply its behaviours.
