Confidential is recruiting Care Support Workers to work in care homes, nursing homes and residential settings across Heatherwood, Somerset, Swindon and Kent. We seek caring, reliable individuals passionate about high-quality, person-centred care and supporting residents with daily needs, wellbeing and independence.

Roles include assisting with personal care, meals, mobility and companionship, plus observing health changes and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in care settings is desirable.
• Caring, respectful approach and safeguarding awareness.
• Good communication and teamwork is essential.
• Right to work in the UK and relevant care training optional.
• Enhanced DBS may be required depending on placement.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care according to individual care plans.
• Assist residents with personal care including washing and dressing.
• Support mobility, transfers and repositioning per care plans.
• Assist with meals and hydration as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Encourage independence and participation in activities.
• Observe health changes and report them promptly.
• Maintain accurate daily records and care documentation.
• Follow safeguarding, infection control and confidentiality procedures.
• Collaborate with nurses, senior carers and management.

Pay Rate: £14.43 per hour including holiday pay

Location: Multiple location in Kent

Shift Pattern: Days, Nights, Weekends & Bank Holidays

Hours: Full-time, Part-time and Flexible Shifts Available

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care in accordance with individual care plans.


• Assist residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming and toileting.


• Support residents with mobility, transfers and repositioning, in line with training and care plans.


• Assist with meals, eating and drinking where required.


• Provide companionship and emotional support.


• Encourage residents to maintain their independence and participate in activities.


• Observe and report changes in residents' health and wellbeing.


• Maintain accurate daily records and care documentation.


• Follow safeguarding, infection control, health and safety and confidentiality procedures.


• Work effectively with nurses, senior carers and care home management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a care home, nursing home, residential care or supported living environment is desirable.
