Sense Scotland is currently recruiting Support Practitioners for our 24hr Housing Support services based in Bridge of Earn, Perthshire.

Offering full-time and part-time contracts, and where possible, flexible working hours will be considered as we encourage a healthy work-life balance.

Shifts are: Early 7.30am – 3pm, Late 2pm – 10pm and Night 10pm – 8am, and include weekends and public holidays allocated via the staff team rota to meet the needs of the service.

Whether you have experience or are just starting your career, you will receive the best possible support while you navigate your way through your first weeks and beyond. On offer is one-to-one on-the-job training; in-house classroom-style training with our experts; opportunities to expand your skills and knowledge via our e-learning packages; and there may be an opportunity to gain additional qualifications through our own SVQ centre.

What your day will look like

You will be working 1:2:1 with an adult supporting them with day-to-day living and helping them achieve their ambitions and goals. No two days are the same and your role will include helping support someone with cooking, cleaning, attending appointments, managing finances, and getting involved with hobbies and interests the person may have, such as bowling, swimming, walking, shopping, and arts and crafts. There will be personal care involved and guidance/training will be provided.
