Job summary

Cranmer House, part of Norse Care, is a residential care home in Fakenham, West Norfolk, seeking a Care Support Worker. You will assist with personal care, support wellbeing activities, and respond to emergencies to promote safety and quality of life for residents.

We offer funded accredited training and career progression within Norse Care; sponsorship is not available for all applicants.

• Assist with personal care and support tasks in line with person-centred care plans.
• Respond to call bells and emergencies promptly and communicate with medical professionals.
• Support residents to maintain independence and participate in wellbeing events and activities.

Job description

As a Care Support Worker you will assist with personal care and support tasks, enabling our service users to make informed choices, promoting their independence and dignity in line with their person-centred care plan. Working as part of a team, you will build strong relationships with your colleagues and the service users, participating and supporting with wellbeing events and activities, and helping to promote a safe and engaging environment. Responding to call bells and emergencies in a timely manner and communicating with other medical professionals and community stakeholders as required.

£14.06 per hour (Nights) + enhancements 31.8 hours per week + opportunity for additional hours
