Lifeways Group is seeking a Care Support Worker in Bolton to provide compassionate support across a shared bungalow service for adults with diverse needs. The role involves personal care, companionship, and enabling participation in daily activities within a supportive team.

The position is full-time (37.5 hrs/week) with varied shifts, including early and late hours. A DBS check and a valid UK driving licence are required, and opportunities exist to grow skills within Lifeways' inclusive

Qualifications

• DBS check required for all applicants.
• Full UK Driving Licence required (held at least 12 months).

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care routines and support adults with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and physical disabilities.
• Engage residents in activities such as visiting museums, zoo, gym, meals, shopping and social events.
• Support individuals to live independently, promoting choice, dignity and respect within a close-knit team.

Shift Details (Between Monday - Sunday)

• Full-time (37.5 hrs/week)
• Shifts vary depending on weekly activities, with a maximum of 07:00am-21:00pm
• Sleeps also required

What You'll Be Doing

At our supported living service in Farnworth people benefit from a vibrant network of staff and friends, while having peace and quiet when they need it too. This service is a shared bungalow where we support adults with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and physical disabilities.

Expect plenty of variety from personal care routines; listening to music; visiting museums; visiting the zoo; going out for meals, going to the gym, shopping, socialising plus lots more.

We support individuals to live independently and achieve their personal goals, promoting choice, dignity and respect in everyday life. We work as part of a close-knit, supportive team.
