Job description

Home Instead cares for the elderly in their own homes, ensuring they are kept healthy, safe, and happy by assisting them with personal care, light housework, meal preparation, shopping, and sometimes taking them to appointments, shopping, and social events.

We require good people who are kind, compassionate, have heaps of common sense, and have a desire to do some good in the world.

We will train and educate you, give you a formal qualification, and encourage you to turn a job into a long-term professional career.

To be eligible, you must have:

• A UK driving licence and your own car - this is mandatory.
• Be free to work the agreed hours on a Saturday and Sunday on alternate weekends.
• Live within our franchise boundaries or we will refer you to your local office.
• Have the Right to Work in the UK - we cannot offer sponsorship or added hours.

If you meet these requirements, we offer:

• £12.75 and £13.40 basic per hour (averaging £14.96-£15.66 per hour).
• £0.30/per mile - £0.45/per mile travel expenses.
• Paid holiday, pension, and other benefits.
• Paid basic rate while undergoing training and CPD.
• Paid during travel between clients (some restrictions apply).
• Minimum 1-hour visits, fully paid.
