AQS Homecare Ltd. is recruiting a Full-Time Care Support Worker to deliver high-quality, person-centred home care. You will provide hands-on support to service users in their own homes and help maintain continuity of care with dignity and respect.

You will cover short-notice sickness absences and temporary care packages, adapt to changing needs, work flexibly with the team and keep accurate care records. A driver’s licence is preferred and training will be provided.

Full-Time Care Support Worker

AQS Homecare is looking for a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Care Support Worker to join our team and help us maintain high-quality, person-centred care for the people we support.

This is an important and varied role for someone who can adapt to changing service needs, respond to short-notice staffing requirements and provide reassurance and continuity to service users when they need it most.

About The Role

As a Care Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day delivery of our care services by:

• Providing short-notice cover for sickness absence and unexpected staffing shortages.
• Taking temporary responsibility for delivering care to packages while permanent recruitment is underway.
• Providing hands-on care and support to service users in their own homes.
• Helping maintain continuity of care and minimise disruption to service users and their families.
• Working flexibly across different care packages in response to service needs.
• Maintaining accurate care records and communicating effectively with colleagues and management.
• Promoting dignity, independence, choice and respect at all times.

This role is focused on the delivery of care and maintaining continuity of service. It does not include responsibility for undertaking care assessments or formally assessing service users' care needs.
