Job summary

AQS Homecare Ltd. is recruiting a Full-Time Care Support Worker to deliver high-quality, person-centred home care. You will provide hands-on support to service users in their own homes and help maintain continuity of care with dignity and respect.

You will cover short-notice sickness absences and temporary care packages, adapt to changing needs, work flexibly with the team and keep accurate care records. A driver’s licence is preferred and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in domiciliary care and understanding of person-centred support.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, professional approach.
• Willing to undertake relevant training and safer recruitment checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide short-notice cover for sickness absence and staffing shortages.
• Take temporary responsibility for delivering care to packages while recruitment is underway.
• Provide hands-on care and support to service users in their own homes.
• Help maintain continuity of care and minimise disruption to service users and families.
• Work flexibly across different care packages in response to service needs.
• Maintain accurate care records and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
• Promote dignity, independence, choice and respect at all times.
