Job summary

McCarthy & Stone Ltd is seeking a Care Assistant to provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents at Twelve Acres Place in Chichester. You will deliver housekeeping and support to help residents live independently and wellbeing.

You will assist with arranging appointments, transport, shopping, and offer encouragement to participate in activities. A caring, team-oriented approach is essential, with QCF Health and Social Care Level 2 preferred.

Qualifications

• Warm, friendly individual with experience in care or support
• Passion for wellbeing and happiness of older people, team player in a busy setting
• Driven to deliver excellent customer service
• Willing to work in Health and Social care; QCF Level 2 preferred, other relevant experience considered

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality care to residents to support health and wellbeing
• Deliver housekeeping and domestic support across the estate
• Assist residents with appointments, transport, and, when needed, escorts
• Encourage participation in activities to support health and wellbeing
• Assist residents with shopping and general errands
