The Vacancy

McCarthy Stone are recruiting a professional Care & Support Assistant to join the team at our prestigious development, The Curlews in Exmouth, Devon.

Built in 2024, The Curlews is a Retirement Living Plus development with 59 apartments designed for the over 70s, offering excellent on-site facilities within beautiful grounds.

Details

Hourly rate: £12.80 per hour, plus up to an additional £1.30 for evening and weekend shifts.

Hours: 20 per week

As a Care & Support Assistant, you will provide high-quality individual care, support residents' wellbeing, assist with housekeeping, and encourage participation in activities. Your duties include supporting residents with appointments, transport, shopping, and escorting them when needed. • You are warm, friendly, with some experience in care or support roles.

• You aim to work in health and social care, preferably with a QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care (Adults), though relevant experience and alternative qualifications may be considered.
