Job summary

The LMP Group is offering an Adult Care Apprentice position at 12 Burton Road, Branston, Burton On Trent. You will complete a Level 2 Adult Care Apprenticeship while gaining hands-on experience in resident care and support.

Salary starts at £8.00 per hour for 30 hours weekly over 13 months, with an automatic pay increase after one year for those aged 19+. Online training is provided with a dedicated tutor; GCSEs in English and Maths (A*–C) are desirable.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship Level 2 Adult Care standard qualification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care in line with each resident's individual care plan.
• Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support residents with mobility and promote their independence.
• Encourage residents' emotional wellbeing through activities and social interaction.
• Maintain residents' dignity, privacy, and respect at all times.
• Carry out light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and infection prevention procedures.
• Accurately record and report changes in residents' health or wellbeing.

Apprenticeship Overview:

• Working Week: Monday - Sunday (30 hours per week, shift to be confirmed)


• Hours: 30 hours per week

As an Adult Care Apprentice, you will:
