Job summary

Wellington Hall Care Centre is seeking a Care Supervisor for day shifts at our Wellington, Telford location. You will promote residents' well-being, deliver person-centred care and lead a team of care assistants.

The role requires a Care Certificate and willingness to pursue NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care. Responsibilities include supporting residents daily, assisting with personal care and mealtimes, maintaining records, and collaborating with health professionals to ensure high-quality

Qualifications

• Must hold Care Certificate and be willing to take NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Promote residents' physical and emotional well-being through social and recreational activities (one-to-one and group).
• Assist residents with personal care, including washing, hygiene and dressing.
• Assist with mealtimes.
• Deliver person-centred care with dignity and respect.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Undertake regular ongoing training.
• Develop relationships with residents and their families to better understand care needs.
• Reviews with external health professionals.
• Lead the team of care assistants.
• Administer medication.

Location: Wellington Hall Care Centre, Holyhead Road, Wellington, Telford, TF1 2EH

At Wellington Hall Care Centrewe are looking for a hardworking team player who is passionate about developing a career in the social care industry as a Care Supervisor. You will be motivated and compassionate, with a genuine interest in benefitting the lives of those within our care.

You MUST hold Care Certificate and be willing to take NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care to qualify for this position.

Responsibilities of the Care Supervisor:

As a Care Supervisoryou will be key to promoting the physical and emotional well-being of our residents in all aspects of their lives. As a valued member of our team, you will be involved in:

• Providing physical and mental stimulation for residents by taking part in social and recreational activities, on a one-to-one and group basis
• Assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing
• Assisting with mealtimes
• Ensuring residents' independence, dignity and respect, by delivering the very best person-centred care
• Helping to maintain accurate records
• Undertaking regular ongoing training
• Developing relationships with our residents and their families in order to gain a better understanding of how to provide the best possible care
• Reviews with external health professionals
• Lead the team of care assistants
• Administer medication
