Job summary

Somerset Care Group at Croft House in Williton is seeking a Care Supervisor to lead a team delivering person-centred care for residents, including those with dementia.

You will create care plans, assist residents through meals, engage in activities, and ensure the team follows best practices. You will oversee medication management and audits to maintain safety and high standards of care.

Qualifications

• QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or working toward Level 3).
• Experience in care including dementia and residential settings.
• Proven leadership with medication management and MDT collaboration.
• Familiarity with end-to-end medication audits, ordering and administration.

About the role:

As a Care Supervisor at Croft House, you'll play a crucial role in:

• Leading a team in providing person-centred care for residents, including those with dementia.
• Creating care plans, assisting residents through mealtimes, engaging in activities, and ensuring that the team follows best practices.
• Overseeing medication management and ensuring safe practices in medication administration and audits.
• Providing strong leadership and team leading, empowering your team to deliver the highest standards of care.

What we're looking for:

• Level 2 QCF qualification in Health & Social Care (or those willing to work towards Level 3).
• Experience in care and support, including dementia care and residential care settings.
• Proven experience in team leading, providing leadership, conducting medication management, and working within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Familiarity with end-to-end medication audits, ordering, and administering medication.
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
• A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for people
• Able to work alternate weekends
• Hours available (per week): 2 x 36hrs
