Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Care Supervisor to manage and support a small Care Services team, ensuring high standards of person-centred care and adherence to Avery processes. You will focus on resident dignity, independence and safety while guiding staff and enhancing daily observations.

The role requires leadership experience in senior care, NVQ3 or equivalent, and a DBS check funded by Avery. Eligible applicants will work in the UK care sector with a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • A recognised Medication administration qualification and experience.
  • Previous experience in a Senior Care role.
  • Demonstrable ability in organising, leading, inspiring and influencing a team.
  • A DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, support and guide a small team within the Care Services team while ensuring Avery processes and procedures are followed.
  • Promote and deliver high quality person-centred care to residents.
  • Monitor and report residents’ daily progress and record observations.
  • Address concerns or complaints from residents or relatives promptly and politely.
  • Provide ongoing support for residents, their families and the Care Services Team.

Job description

Responsibilities

Your focus as Care Supervisor will be to manage, support and guide a small team within the Care Services team ensuring Avery processes and procedures are followed to the highest standards and ensuring that our resident’s choices, dignity, independence, and personal safety are at the core of all care and support activity.

Promoting and delivering high quality person‑centred care to our residents.

Closely monitoring and reporting on residents’ daily progress, ensuring all observations and interventions are recorded.

Dealing with any concerns or complaints raised by residents or relatives in a polite, prompt and appropriate manner as soon as they occur.

Providing ongoing support for the residents, their families and the Care Services Team.

Qualifications
