Job summary

Avery Healthcare is looking for a warm, enthusiastic Care Supervisor to join Elton House Care Home in Watford. You will manage a small Care Services team, ensure Avery procedures are followed, and keep resident dignity, independence and safety at the heart of daily care.

You will hold NVQ Level 3 and a medication administration qualification, lead, coach and inspire colleagues, handle observations and family inquiries, and promote high quality, person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Medication administration qualification.
• Previous experience in a Senior Care role.
• Demonstrable ability in organising, leading, inspiring and influencing a team.

Responsibilities

• Promoting and delivering high quality person‑centred care to our residents.
• Closely monitoring and reporting on residents’ daily progress, ensuring all observations and interventions are recorded.
• Dealing with any concerns or complaints raised by residents or relatives in a polite, prompt and appropriate manner as soon as they occur.
• Providing ongoing support for the residents, their families and the Care Services Team.

About The Role

Your focus as Care Supervisor will be to manage, support and guide a small team within the Care Services team ensuring Avery processes and procedures are followed to the highest standards and ensuring that our resident’s choices, dignity, independence, and personal safety are at the core of all care and support activity.

Other Responsibilities Will Include
