Job summary

Care Outlook is seeking a Field Care Supervisor to oversee home care services in Lambeth. You will support care staff, carry out care assessments, and ensure high-quality care for clients.

Applicants should have a full driving licence, knowledge of CQC standards, and experience in health and social care. We offer training, a competitive salary, and the chance to grow with a leading home care provider.

Qualifications

• Experience as Field Care Supervisor or 2 years within Health & Social Care (preferred)
• Knowledge of CQC standards and compliance (essential)
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
• NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Spot check carers in the community and report training concerns to the registered manager
• Deliver high standards of care and support quality improvement
• Participate in the on-call rota
• Complete care assessments and write Care Plans
• Build relationships with care staff and service users
• Assist the registered manager with inspections by local authority and CQC
• Assist the care coordinator with duties as required

We are currently recruiting for a Care Supervisor to maintain and develop our home care services in the Lambeth area.

Responsible for implementing field based quality control systems and providing support to all Care & Support Workers within a defined area.

Core Duties & Responsibilities as Field Care Supervisor:

• Spot checking carers in the community, identifying good practice, identifying and reporting training concerns back to the registered manager
• Ability to deliver high standards of care
• Participate in the paid on-call rota
• Completing care assessments and writing up Care Plans
• Building relationships with care staff and service users
• Assisting the registered manager in preparing for inspections by the local authority and CQC
• Assisting the care coordinator with any duties that may be required

Examples of the client's needs you will be supporting with as a Field Care Supervisor:

• Assisting clients with personal care (Washing, toileting, dressing etc.)
• Performing light housekeeping tasks.
