Bluebird Care Wiltshire North is seeking a Field Care Supervisor to lead our team of Care Assistants, coaching staff and supporting clients with daily living activities while upholding dignity and independence.

You will deliver care activities, carry out risk assessments, keep care plans up to date, and train staff. A full UK driving licence is essential; NVQ Level 3 is desirable. Full-time role with 28 days holiday and induction training.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience required.
• Full UK driving licence with access to own vehicle.
• NVQ Level 3 desirable but not essential.
• Kind, compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Support the Customer Care and Live-in Care Manager with supervising Care Assistants and support workers.
• Deliver care activities as rostered, splitting time between supervision and direct care.
• Carry out risk assessments before each service.
• Keep care and support plans up to date and tailored to individual needs.
• Create written, tailored care plans respecting customer wishes and dignity.
• Support, supervise and assist with training of Care Assistants.

You will act as a role model and coach for our Care Assistants and help support our customers with all aspects of their day-to-day life.

Responsibilities of the Field CareSupervisor include but are not limited to:

• Supporting the Customer Care and the Live-in Care Manager with the efficient running and supervision of Care Assistants and support workers within a designated area
• Deliver care activities as required split between supervisory and care duties as rostered
• Carry out risk assessments before each service commences
• Keep care and support plans up to date
• Create a written, individually tailored plan of care and support that respects each customer's wishes and promotes their dignity and privacy
• Support, supervise, and assist with the training of Care Assistants
• Take part in the out-of-hours emergency on-call rota asrequired
• Effectively deal with emergency on-call issues
• Monitor the performance of Care Assistants and conduct quality reviews at customers' homes
• Apply Bluebird Care policies and procedures at all times and make sure that accidents and incidents are recorded, reported, and acted upon
• Work flexibly to meet business needs

Hours: Full-timeMonday-Friday 8:30 am-5:00 pm plus on-call and out-of-hoursfield work and care delivery evenings and weekends as required

Please note you must have previous care experience and hold a full driving licence with access to your own vehicle to be considered for this role.

NVQ level 3 is desirable but not essential
