Job summary

Protocol Education are recruiting a learning support assistant/teaching assistant to join a specialist school in Swindon. You will be part of a team that works with children with various needs, including MLD, SLD, ASD and PMLD, with no prior experience required.

A friendly attitude and quick relationship-building with individual children are essential. Training via CPD Academy is available, and certificates in manual handling, hoist, first aid or care are welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience with special needs is not strictly required but desirable.
• Desire to assist in areas including MLD, SLD, ASD and PMLD.
• Certificates in Manual handling, Hoist, First Aid, Care would be admired.

Seeking an LSA/TA/Care Assistant/Support Worker!

Protocol Education are looking to recruit a learning support assistant/teaching assistant to join a specialist school in Swindon.

You will be joining a great team that predominantly work with children who have a variety of special needs, including MLD, SLD, ASD and PMLD. Therefore, a desire to assist in this area is required, but no experience is necessary!

A friendly and positive approach to teaching and learning, as well as the ability to quickly build up strong relationships and rapport with individual children is important.

Certificates in Manual handling, Hoist, First Aid, Care would be admired. If we do not have these, we have a comprehensive CPD Academy where you can upskill yourself in training over the Summer break.

This school require staff on a long term, full-time and permanent basis (5 days a week between the hours of 8:30am-15:30pm).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
