Protocol Education Ltd in Basildon is recruiting an Entry Level Learning Support Assistant (LSA) / Teaching Assistant (TA) for a SEND school. No prior school experience is required; compassionate, reliable individuals are encouraged to apply.
The role is long-term and full-time, with working hours 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Candidates will undergo safeguarding checks and DBS clearance as part of our safeguarding policy.

Protocol Education are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant/Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming SEND school in Basildon.
We also welcome applications from candidates based in Wickford, Benfleet, Billericay, Chelmsford, Southend-on-Sea, Rayleigh, Canvey Island and the surrounding Essex areas, as the school is easily accessible from these locations.
The pupils attending the school have a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), and other complex needs. A genuine passion for supporting children and young people is essential, but previous school experience is not required.
The school is looking for compassionate, enthusiastic and reliable individuals who are committed to helping every pupil reach their full potential. Building positive relationships, showing patience and encouraging independence are key parts of the role.
This is a long-term, full-time opportunity, with working hours of 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
