Job summary

Cygnet Woodrowe House in Markfield near Leicester is seeking a compassionate Care Rehabilitation Assistant to support residents in recovery and daily activities within care home or home care settings. The role follows a two-week rolling shift pattern with 08:00–20:00 blocks across the long and short weeks.

You will assist with personal care, meals and activities, maintain a clean environment, and follow individual care plans.

Responsibilities

• To support and enable residents with personal activities such as washing/bathing, dressing and toileting according to care plans.
• To support residents’ participation in activities and pursuits of their choice.
• Maintain a tidy and clean environment.
• Assist with meals and drinks as per care plans.
• Support effective communication within the team and raise concerns to a senior staff member when required.
• Maintain confidentiality and data protection for residents and staff.
• Participate in mandatory training and adhere to home policies.
• Maintain knowledge of resident care plans and act if someone is at risk of harm.
