Job summary

Home Instead is seeking Care Professionals to join our team in Harrogate. You will provide non-medical home care, companionship and personal support with minimum one-hour visits, and you’ll be part of a renowned global brand with a trusted local franchise.

We offer weekend vacancies, guaranteed hour contracts, and fully paid training. A UK driving licence is required, and you will receive support and guidance from our 24/7 team to help you succeed in your role.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid UK Driving Licence.
• No prior care experience required – full training provided.
• Eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and mobility support for clients at home.
• Assist with household tasks such as cooking, cleaning and errands.
• Support with medication prompting and safety at home.
• Deliver companionship and ensure client wellbeing during visits.

We're looking for Care Professionals who may already have experience in Support working, Retail, Hospitality or Domiciliary Care or those without experience looking to become a Care Professional as fully paid award-winning training will be given.

Being a Care Professional means you need to be adaptable, personable but ultimately put others first. Your role may include:

• Helping with personal care
• Helping with mobility around the home
• Overseeing medication and providing medical support
• Helping with housework such as cleaning and vacuuming
• Preparing and cooking meals
• Running errands such as food shopping or picking up prescriptions

Additional Information

Due to the various locations of our clients all Care ProfessionalsMUSThave aValid UK Driving Licence with access to a car or motorbike and have theRight to work in the UK.
