The University of Sheffield’s Centre for Care is seeking a Research Associate to support the Centre Director and contribute to a range of urgent and time-critical projects. You will help prepare responses to policy developments, track care-related evidence, and produce briefings for engagement with national and international partners.

You will join a team with a strong commitment to co-production, user involvement, and impactful research that informs policy and practice in the care sector.

Qualifications

• Experience researching social care or care from an academic, policy, practice or advocacy background.
• Commitment to co-production and involvement of users in research and with care sector partners.
• Experience synthesising and summarising research evidence and policy papers for relevant audiences.

Responsabilités

• Working with the Director and other team members in preparing responses to policy developments and official consultations on care.
• Researching emerging issues in care in different parts of the UK.
• Keeping track of evidence presented to parliamentary enquiries and other investigations relevant to care.
• Preparing briefings and summaries to support engagement with international and care sector partners.
