Job summary

Crystal Care Collection Limited seeks a dynamic Care Manager to support the General Manager in Otwell Grove, Bicester, driving day-to-day operations and high standards of care.

You will assist with care planning, manage staff rosters, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, while fostering a caring environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 5 or working towards it is required.

Responsibilities

• Act as person in charge of the Home in the absence of the General Manager.
• Participate in the on-call rota for out of hours management.
• Oversee residents' needs and ensure relevant agencies and relatives are informed when needed.
• Monitor and manage PCS compliance.
• Provide coaching and support to develop care planning skills.
• Oversee ordering and booking in of medication.
• Assist with interviews, investigations and disciplinary issues as required.
• Assist with rota management and staffing to ensure appropriate skill mix and maintain the Coolcare rota.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and legal requirements (HACCP, COSHH, Health and Safety, Care Standards Act).

You will assist the General Manager in the overall direction, coordination, implementation control of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, vision and goals. Key responsibilities:

• To act as person in charge of the Home in the absence of the General Manager.

• To oversee Residents needs are being met, and that relevant professional agencies and relatives where needed are informed in the best interests of the residents.
• To monitor and manage PCS compliance.
• To provide coaching and support for team members to develop their care planning skills.
• Oversee the ordering and booking in of all medication.
• Assist with interviews, investigations and disciplinary issues as required.
• Assist with rota management and staffing ensuring an appropriate skill mix of staff on shift at all times. Ensure the Coolcare rota is maintained.
• Understand and comply with statutory and legal requirements relevant throughout the homes, including HACCP, COSHH, Health and Safety, all aspects of the Care Standards Act to maintain a safe environment throughout the home.
