Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking an experienced Care Manager for the Luton area. The role combines home-based work with client visits, typically Monday to Friday, 9am–5:30pm, with an on-call rota for nights and weekends.

You will own local care packages and lead assessment reporting while maintaining high-quality client-focused care. Requirements include NVQ 4 or above in Health and Social Care, a full UK driving licence, and prior leadership/management experience.

Qualifications

• NVQ 4 or above in Health and Social Care.
• Full UK Driving License.
• Experience in care at Team Leader level or above.
• Previous management experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own care packages in the Luton area and surrounding region.
• Review referrals with Business Development Manager.
• Produce assessment reports for care packages.
• Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping.
• Build strong relationships with clients, families and external bodies.
