Maria Mallaband Care Group is seeking a Chef to join our care-focused kitchen team. You will design menus using seasonal ingredients while balancing budget and quality to deliver restaurant-standard dishes for residents.

You will develop recipes aligned with our brand and manage kitchen capabilities, ensuring outstanding presentation and taste across all meals. Experience in care settings is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Chef.
• Holder of a food hygiene certificate or equivalent.
• Financial acumen – you know your numbers as well as your recipes.

Responsibilities

• Create menus using seasonal ingredients while balancing costs.
• Develop recipes aligned with our brand identity and kitchen capabilities.
• Oversee food preparation, presentation and taste.
• Manage inventory to minimise waste and maximise flavour.
• Understand food and labour costs and work within a pricing strategy.
