Job summary

Silverleigh Care Home in Axminster, Devon, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Chef to deliver high-quality, nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs. You will own food preparation, assist with menu planning, and maintain hygiene and safety across the kitchen.

No late evenings or split shifts, offering a strong work-life balance. The role includes paid DBS, pension, uniform provided and 5.6 weeks annual leave, with a 45-hour week at £15.08 per hour.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or equivalent, or working towards.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Experience in a professional kitchen environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive and reliable approach.

Responsibilities
