Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Kitchen Assistant at Regency Care Home to help prepare nourishing meals and support residents during dining times. You’ll contribute to a warm, welcoming atmosphere and assist the chef with preparing balanced menus.

We offer 24 hours per week, including alternate weekends, with a focus on cleanliness, safety, and teamwork. Prior kitchen experience is useful, but a positive attitude and reliability are essential. On-demand pay and pension benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months’ right to work in the UK
• Previous kitchen experience
• Flexible to work 24 hours per week, including alternate weekends
• A positive, team-focused attitude

Responsibilities

• Support the chef to prepare balanced, nutritious meals and snacks
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Follow food safety, COSHH, and health & safety guidelines
• Work both independently and as part of the team
• Engage with residents, bringing warmth and friendliness to the dining experience
