Job summary

Sanctuary Care seeks a Care Improvement Partner to cover England and Scotland, 35 hours per week. Salary £45,736.60 rising to £48,157.20 after 12 months, plus a car allowance of £8,445.03 per annum. The role involves driving regulatory compliance and care quality improvements across our homes.

You’ll collaborate with teams, support governance and training, and contribute to a culture of safe, compassionate care with recognised development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent as proof of continued professional development.
• Full, current driving license for national travel across England and Scotland.
• Proven leadership and management experience in the care sector.
• Experience in care within a residential environment.
• Deep understanding of regulatory compliance, care legislation and inspection regimes.
• Experience in change management and/or managing challenged services.
• Proven ability to manage effective delivery of projects.
• Compassionate and clear leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
• Able to interpret and analyse data from multiple complex systems.
• Effective time management and diary planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise on regulatory compliance and care legislation to meet CQC/CI requirements.
• Ensure highest care standards through quality improvements and learning.
• Collaborate with departments to drive continuous care quality.
• Represent the quality and clinical team at events as needed.
• Work with residential and nursing teams to optimise systems and policies.
• Guide practical application of training concepts and lead by example.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of care standards and internal policies.

A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a dynamic and skilled Care Improvement Partner to provide practical guidance and action to improve care quality to meet CQC (England) and CI (Scotland) legislative, registration and organisational requirements.

Your role

• Provide expertise, detailed understanding and practical guidance on regulatory compliance, care legislation and inspection regimes and action to ensure achievement of CQC (England) and CI (Scotland), legislative and organisational requirements and service delivery requirement
• Ensure the highest level of care standards are maintained at all times through quality improvements, assessments, monitoring throughout the business demonstrating learning and sharing best practice.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues from other departments across the business to ensure continuous improvements and high standards of care quality.
• To represent the quality and clinical team at internal and external events as and when required.
• Work with residential and nursing home colleagues to ensure the effective use of systems and processes including compliance with policies and procedure
• Provide support and guidance to ensure the effective practical application of theoretical principles and training concepts, acting as a role model for excellence in the delivery of care practices and standards.
• Maintain knowledge and expertise in care standards, regulatory compliance requirement and internal policy and procedures.

Your Skills
