Job summary

Sanctuary Care is recruiting a Care Improvement Partner to drive practical guidance and action to improve care quality across England and Scotland. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, care legislation, and inspection regimes to meet CQC and CI standards.

The position covers a national remit with a 35-hour week and travel, offering a salary from £45,736.60 to £48,157.20 per annum plus a car allowance of £8,445.03.

Qualifications

  • Level 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent as proof of development.
  • Full, current driving license for national travel across England and Scotland.
  • Proven leadership and management experience in the care sector.
  • Experience in care in a residential environment.
  • Detailed understanding of regulatory compliance and inspection regimes.
  • Experience of change management and/or managing challenged services.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse data from multiple systems.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise and practical guidance on regulatory compliance and inspection regimes.
  • Ensure high care standards through continuous quality improvements and sharing best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure continuous care quality improvements.
  • Represent the quality and clinical team at internal and external events.
  • Support effective use of systems and processes across homes in line with policies.
  • Mentor and model excellence in care practices and standards.
  • Maintain knowledge of care standards and regulatory requirements.

A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a dynamic and skilled Care Improvement Partner to provide practical guidance and action to improve care quality to meet CQC (England) and CI (Scotland) legislative, registration and organisational requirements.

Your role
  • Provide expertise, detailed understanding and practical guidance on regulatory compliance, care legislation and inspection regimes and action to ensure achievement of CQC (England) and CI (Scotland), legislative and organisational requirements and service delivery requirement
  • Ensure the highest level of care standards are maintained at all times through quality improvements, assessments, monitoring throughout the business demonstrating learning and sharing best practice.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues from other departments across the business to ensure continuous improvements and high standards of care quality.
  • To represent the quality and clinical team at internal and external events as and when required.
  • Work with residential and nursing home colleagues to ensure the effective use of systems and processes including compliance with policies and procedure
  • Provide support and guidance to ensure the effective practical application of theoretical principles and training concepts, acting as a role model for excellence in the delivery of care practices and standards.
  • Maintain knowledge and expertise in care standards, regulatory compliance requirement and internal policy and procedures.
Your Skills
  • Level 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent similar as proof of continued professional development
  • Full, current driving license for national travel across England and Scotland
  • Proven relevant leadership and management experience in the care sector
  • Proven experience in care, in a residential environment
  • Detailed understanding of regulatory compliance, care legislation and inspection regime
  • Experience of change management and/or managing challenged services
  • Proven ability to manage effective delivery of projects
  • Compassionate and clear leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills including understanding of written and spoken English
  • Able to interpret, analyse data from multiple complex systems
  • Effective time management and diary planning.
