The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a Team Leader (Days) for Care Homes Citywide (Various Locations) in Edinburgh. Salary £34,452 - £40,501, 36 hours per week.

You will supervise care staff, support residents’ personal needs, and maintain care plans while ensuring a safe, dignified environment. SVQ3 in Health and Social Care, medication training, 1+ year experience, SSSC registration, and PVG checks are required.

Qualificações

• SVQ3 Health and Social Care is required.
• Medication administration training is required.
• At least one year’s experience in a care setting.
• Adhere to the SSSC Codes of Practice and obtain SSSC registration.
• Confidentiality of information must be maintained.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise all care staff and monitor care given to residents.
• Contribute to the personal needs of each resident.
• Promote a friendly, caring and safe environment.
• Ensure residents retain dignity, choice and individuality.
• Induct, train and supervise colleagues and junior staff in care home duties.
• Write, update and maintain residents’ Care Plans.
