Job summary

Caron Group is seeking a Registered Manager for one of its Welsh care homes. You will be responsible for the strategic and operational success of the home, delivering an exemplary resident experience and upholding the Caron Group ethos of person-centered care.

You will lead the team, ensure regulatory compliance with RISCA and CSAW requirements, manage budgets, occupancy, and stakeholder relationships, and drive continuous improvement in care quality.

Qualifications

• QCF Level 4 or 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Adults Residential Management).
• Registered with Social Care Wales.
• Knowledge and sound understanding of RISCA.
• 3+ years Leadership/Management experience.
• Proven record and passion for elderly care and positive outcomes.
• Adherence to Caron Group’s ethos.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, direct and coordinate day-to-day home operations.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and regulations (RISCA, CSSW).
• Lead and develop home staff; communicate policy effectively.
• Maintain resident records and staff records per policy.
• Manage budgets and report to Head Office regularly.
