Job summary
Hartford Care Ltd. is seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our Maintenance Team. The role involves painting internal and external areas across multiple care homes, with travel to locations in the Midlands, Wales and the North. A driving licence is essential, and a company vehicle will be provided. DBS check will be conducted.
The role supports a comprehensive maintenance function to keep our care homes safe, comfortable and well-maintained for residents and staff alike.
Qualifications
- Robust painting and decorating experience with attention to detail.
- Valid driving license is essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while maintaining high professionalism.
- Experience working at height and following Health & Safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Carry out painting and decorating tasks, including prep, repair and finishing of internal and external areas.
- Work safely at height using ladders, scaffolding and access equipment.
- Keep work areas clean and minimize disruption to residents and staff.
- Support general maintenance tasks (e.g., plumbing, tiling, minor repairs).
- Travel between homes as required to support the maintenance team.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures at all times.
